    • John Tuohy, Data Access Worldwide
    • DataFlex developers tend to work with very large applications. When they need to create, extend, maintain, debug and understand a part of an application, they will want to work with a smaller component. This is supported as a central part of the framework – it has always encouraged the use of views and dialogs as standalone reusable components. However, even a view or a dialog can be a fairly large component. In this session, John will review this process and show how the Studio can be used to take this down to an even more granular level. This is the technique we use internally to test new features, track down bugs.

It enables developers to rapidly and cost-effectively transition existing Windows desktop applications to a service-based model by leveraging the power of APIs. Evolution’s real power comes from its support of cross-language development.  Whether you are an independent software vendor transitioning to a SaaS model or corporate IT unifying your development efforts, Evolution gives you the capability of integrating legacy apps with newer apps developed in mainstream programming languages.”
